Our Story
Previously known as ‘At home with Christelle’, Christelle & Co is a interior design company that boasts over a decade of experience in building, renovating and revamping spaces. With our team of experts, we are dedicated to delivering timeless design, as well as luxurious interiors and exteriors through a customised and personalised service.
Christelle Afana Fonkem is the founder of Christelle & Co. Coming from an architectural background (her father was an engineer, and architect, her grandfather, a developer), she grew up appreciating the fine art of building and creating moods from nothing. Her passion and love for interiors have been showcased several times on the front page of magazines, articles, and TV shows.

How We Work
Our Working
Process
Consultation
On payment of our consultation fee, we meet with you the client to understand your vision, style preferences and requirements for the project. This is important so we establish a strong relationship from the onset and set clear expectations.
Site Analysis
We call out to your space so we can thoroughly assess what we are working with, looking at the layout, lighting, and existing constraints. By studying your space in detail, we can identify unique design opportunities to maximise space and enhance function.
Moodboarding & Design
Creating a moodboard is a creative process where we curate the different visual elements such as colour palettes, textures, furniture styles, and inspirational images to conceptualise the overall look and feel of the space. With a shared visual roadmap, we can now translate this moodboard into a comprehensive design plan.
Building and Construction
Once the design concept is finalized and approved, the design moves to the building and construction phase where the design plans are executed on-site. Our skilled craftsmens and contractors work collaboratively to bring the design vision to life.
Finishing and Handover
The final stage of the working process involves the finishing touches and handover of the completed project to the client. We do one last walkthrough to ensure all aspects of the design have been done to the set expectations. With an official handover and conclusion of our journal together, you can now enjoy your newly transformed luxury space.
